Friday 7th December 2007 A full house of 140 were booked in to the John Major Room for the Christmas Luncheon to hear the advertised speaker - Francis Maude MP. Unfortunately Francis Maude cancelled at the last minute, not for the first time, he was originally due to speak at a luncheon last year but also cancelled at the eleventh hour. We are indebted to John Cassidy for stepping in at the last minute and providing excellent entertainment.
