The BBC Weather Centre's Senior Forecaster.  She joined the BBC Weather Centre team in 1993 and appointed its Deputy Manager in April 1998. Helen was one of the main presenters on The Weather Show; has presented two series of Strange Weather Days for Radio 4; a weather series for the children's programme Zig-Zag; and has written a children's book on weather, which so far has been published in France and Poland. She also presented the weather on the BBC's eclipse programme and the 2000 Today millennium programme.
